Here's the six-point checklist I now tell every reader to run before they pay, built from the exact places a code can quietly fail.
Why a checklist instead of a walkthrough

Sofia's near-miss
When Sofia switched devices, the referral field on her laptop's order page was blank. She caught it at checkpoint 4, re-pasted the code, and confirmed it at checkpoint 5 before paying. If she'd gone straight from checkpoint 3 to submitting the order, she'd have paid full price for a car with no FSD trial attached — and, per Tesla's own guidance, no guaranteed way to add it back afterward.
