What the code gets you in France
French buyers are in the continental Supercharging tier — around 2,000 km on a new Model 3 or Model Y since the end of April 2026, double the 1,000 km figure that most French-language pages still print. If a page quotes you 1 000 km, it has not been rechecked since April.
Model S / Model X: Model S and Model X buyers typically receive Tesla account credit (around €500) instead of Supercharging.
What that reward is actually worth in France
2,000 km at 14–18 kWh/100 km is about 280–360 kWh. At €0.26–€0.43 per kWh that is roughly €73–€155 — a genuinely wide range, and the reason a single euro figure for “what the reward is worth” is misleading in France: whether you charge off-peak on a membership or at peak on a road trip moves the answer by more than double.

Applying it on Tesla's France store
The link opens Tesla’s France store with prices in EUR. Order of operations is the same in every market — link first, then confirm the reward in the order summary before paying — and is set out screen by screen in the how-it-works guide.
The referrer's side: The referrer also receives roughly 2,000 km of free Supercharging (or Tesla Credits up to about €500). Full referrer terms.
France EV incentives that stack with the code
None of the schemes below affect referral eligibility, or vice versa. Statuses are dated because several change mid-year.
| Scheme | Amount and how it works |

| Bonus écologique Live · checked August 31, 2026 |
up to €4,000, or up to €7,000 on low income Extended into 2026 and restricted to private buyers of new EVs. Three screens apply at once: your reference tax income sets the band, the vehicle price must sit under the cap, and the car must clear France's environmental score — a production-footprint test that excludes some imported EVs outright. Passing on price but failing on score is the trap. Verify at Service-Public.fr |
| Prime à la conversion Varies locally · checked August 31, 2026 |
conditional, scrappage-linked Paid for retiring an older vehicle rather than for buying an EV, and income-tested. It is a separate claim from the bonus and has its own eligibility, so being turned down for one says nothing about the other. |
| FSD (Supervised) in France Live · checked August 31, 2026 |
€99/month subscription A subscription you buy, not a referral reward. It launched in France in May 2026, which is exactly why the confusion exists: French buyers now see FSD offered as a product on the same page where a North American buyer would be given it free by a referral link. In France the referral benefit is Supercharging. |
Ordering in France: the thing that actually catches people out
The bonus is claimed against the order, so the environmental-score and price-cap checks belong before you configure — options can push a car over the price cap. The referral link is independent of all of it and must be opened before configuring.
